2025 Christmas Party

No big bells and whistles. No crazy acrobatic performances. Just a get-together that felt damn right. Last Friday was our Christmas party, and what can I say? It was one of those nights that really stick with you.

Disco, Disco! Party, Party!

Outdoor curling to start, a warm welcome from Daniel inside, followed by an entertaining interview with our CEOs Jan and Michael about the highlights of 2025 and plans for 2026. A look back, a look forward, a focus on our values—and right in the middle, a quick Slido question for everyone: What is your wish for 2026?

The answers proved one thing: we’re seriously hyped about our community. Whether it was "Disco Disco? Party, Party!", a raft trip, a team workation, more parties, a pinball machine, karaoke by the management, or skiing... the list is long!

A focus on gratitude

A particularly touching moment was Jan’s short speech. Amidst turbulent times and plenty of change, he said something that really resonated: Gratitude. For health. For family. And above all, for the team.

That’s exactly what we need to preserve and make as wonderful as possible. And as a team, we’re more than happy to help with that. 💛

Photo booth challenge for a good cause

Because we don’t just talk the talk, but walk the walk, we also held a charity campaign—including a challenge in the photo booth. The donation amount increased for specific photo constellations. 📸

We collected funds for two local projects: Ghettokids – Soziale Projekte e. V. and Hilfe für Kids (Munich City Youth Council). blu BEYOND doubled the donations at the end, resulting in a total of €3,000 for children and young people from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. Yeaaah!!

A packed dance floor (yes, even with IT folks!)

After dinner, the party moved to the dance floor. A packed dance floor at an IT party—you wouldn't have thought so, right? 😉 Huge thanks to our new resident DJ aka AI expert, Kevin.
